Some of you will probably be too young to know a song called "Woman To Woman" by Shirley Brown. Song is probably about 30 years old or so and it features Shirley calling her husbands lover, telling him; "That man that you are loving, he is mine. The clothes on his back, I bought them" or some words along those lines.
That song was very popular, because that phone call happens DAILY. So everybody identifies with it. Women are ALWAYS picking up the phone, calling their man's girlfriend, telling her to leave him alone.
WHY????
That is, by far, the most illogical act I have ever witnessed, by any human being, living or dead.
The person you should be dealing with and resolving this issue with is your husband. Your boyfriend. Your man.
Don't get me wrong; I am not for one minute, suggesting that the "other woman" is innocent in all this. But the fact of the matter is, if you deal with YOUR man, that woman ceases to be the problem.
Imagine, if you will, that you have your car parked on the street, outside your house, unlocked. Then you see somebody trying to break into it. As you come out yelling, the person starts running away. If you keep chasing him, you have still left your car unattended, unlocked and open to others stealing it. The logical choice would have been to take your car, put it in the garage and locking the garage. Don't treat symptoms, treat the root cause.
Now, how much worse would it be, in my analogy, if your car had a mind was the one running to thieves? Handle your car, not the thieves.
Your man sees women every single day. He interacts with them, flirts, talks and gets involved with some. If you happen to find out about one of them, where is the logic in calling that woman? I swear, I would understand if you were just calling the woman to verify or to confirm your suspicions. But to call a woman and say; "Leave my man alone!" I swear that is the single most stupid and most pathetic thing that a woman could ever do.
If you do that, I swear to you, it starts to be clear why he would repeatedly cheat on you. He knows you are an idiot.
Look, don't get me wrong; If a woman is making moves on your man, especially a woman that YOU know. And he comes to you and says; "Look at the messages that this woman has sent me. And look at my responses saying Leave Me Alone!" Then I fully understand you picking up the phone and saying "Back Off, woman!"
If a woman openly flirts with your man in front of you, hey...go ahead and draw the line. After all, sometimes men are so ignorant, until a woman grabs us by the hand and says "I want you!" we barely notice that she is flirting. So, hey, go ahead and mark your territory, there. That woman IS disrespecting you and your man is an unwilling party.
But a man who is having an affair? No ways! It is HIM you need to confront. And it is him you need to handle.
Keep YOUR dog on a leash and don't worry yourself about the activities of female dogs in the street. How do you go to your neighbour and complain that YOUR dog went into his yard and had sex with HIS female dog? That makes no sense, right?
Handle your domestic issues and forget about other women. Because while you are busy calling woman #1, he is busy with women #2,3 and 4. What did you achieve? Handle it with HIM.
